Amelia Penney-Crocker is a fifteen-year-old writer and activist. She’s been a storyteller her whole life and at the age of twelve, she had a chance to use storytelling for good when she was commissioned to write three books designed to teach children conflict resolution skills with Peaceful Schools International.
Amelia is passionate about climate change and joined School Strike for Climate, Halifax, to make a difference. She wants to use writing to help fight the climate crisis and in December 2019, she began writing a letter a week to the Prime Minister of Canada. She kept it up until December 2020.
In her free time Amelia sings, acts, does taekwondo, and of course writes.
